Fight Drug Addiction with Laser Therapy

Alternative Medicine (CAM) uses ear acupuncture with needles,
electricity, or laser therapy to manage addiction withdrawal. Ear
acupuncture with laser therapy has the highest success rate in addiction
recovery. For those who cannot tolerate laser therapy, alternative
includes ear acupuncture with needles and a hand-held electrical device
that is used on specific addiction points and brain points is fairly
successful in managing addiction withdrawal and recovery.
The
cases that did well-involved therapy five days per week for a month and
three times per week for six months to a year afterward. This is not
inexpensive and many working people do not have the ability to get
intensive treatment. Many of these studies were for drug addicts that
were in prison. Many acupuncturists work on addiction recovery, but most
of them are unaware of the level of frequency required for true
recovery. Many are unwilling to present this as an option due to the
high expense. If you want a fairly successful recovery with
approximately a thirty to seventy percent chance of winning the drug
addiction battle, it does require extremely intensive treatment.
Eating
addictions do not require this intensive level of treatment. Two or
three times per week is successful when combined with amino acid
therapy. Food addiction treatment requires nine to twelve months of
therapy and treatment. Laser therapy works really well and should be
tried where available. The Class III Medical Grade Cold Laser by Luminex
or Thor Laser is the best option. Ask the medical professional the
specifics of their clinic’s laser. Small pen sized lasers are inadequate
in strength.
Dependence-inducing
substances and recreational drugs cause concentrations of dopamine to
rise in the surroundings, which in turn affects other nerve cells and
bring about various physical and mental reactions. One way to diminish
the desire for drugs is blocking the dopamine-producing nerve cell’s
glutamate receptors. Dopamine-producing nerve cells are central to the
brain’s reward system. This will cause cravings for cocaine to slow or
stop. Herbal formulas can be used for this purpose or specific amino
acid combinations including 5-HTP and GABA.
