Music Therapy and Tibetan Singing Bowls
Complementary
Alternative Medicine (CAM) relies on a large group of techniques and
supplements. The options include music, music therapy, singing, healing
with crystal bowls and Tibetan Bowls. This is used to extend life in
difficult cases of cancer.
For
some people, this is not enough and adjunct therapies will be used in
mass for very hard cases. Metatones is auditory vibrational energy
therapy to address problems for ADD, ADHD, epilepsy, learning
disabilities, autism, addiction, depression, dyslexia, head trauma,
insomnia, PTSD, stroke, MS and Alzheimer’s. The brain can be balanced
with amino acids to assist with neurotransmitter rebalancing and
auditory therapy can also indirectly affect neurotransmitter levels.
Music
therapy, Acutonics, singing, and Tibetan singing bowls are simpler
versions of the concept of using music or sound vibrations to heal.
Hemi-Sync Method is a more sophisticated version of vibrational sound
therapy developed by Dr. Robert Monroe. The Monroe Institute is now run
by Skip Attwater. The brain can be balanced by auditory therapy. The
sounds are played on a CD and listened to with headphones. Brainwave
activity is altered by the sound vibration as it is heard. There are
several types of brainwaves and your brain may not experience proper
brainwave activity. This adjusts the brainwave activity.
Research
shows that Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s brains have decidedly different
brainwaves than the normal brain. Hemi-Sync works to entrain the brain
into the proper brainwave activity for health. Vibrational energy
healing is based on the tenant that disease stems from a lack of proper
resonance. This is relatively inexpensive for alternative medicine
because you can play the CD’s as many times as you need. It is fairly
unusual, but music therapy and sound therapy have many successful
results. Most forms of medicine believe that disease is rooted in a lack
of balance.
Health
will return when the cell is put into vibrational balance. It seems
that music therapy may be one more way in which to influence and change
neurotransmitter levels. Classical music and baroque music are the best
music for balancing the brain. Music therapy with a harp has been used
to treat MS. Learning to play the piano or guitar can help balance the
brain of a child with ADD or ADHD. Singing upbeat songs is a great way
for a child to improve their depression. Stroke patients that are unable
to speak may be able to hum along with music.
This
concept is integrated into an overall health and medical program which
includes detoxification of chemicals, toxins, and pesticides for many
patients. After the toxins are removed, a healthy diet of organic
vegetables and fruits will help people regain health quickly. Food-based
multivitamins are often used for severely ill patients.
